Bandweb.com, a new service targeted to aid bands and musicians build and maintain their own web sites, launched today. "Bandweb gives bands more tools to strengthen their own careers," states Bandweb President and CEO, Tim Killian, "this new site is unmatched in it's scope and purpose."
Bandweb provides "Quick-Build" template web sites that allow bands to construct their own sites, using their own domain names, in minutes. The sites are fully database driven, allowing bands to update and maintain their own information without any knowledge of web design or html coding.
"A well-built web site is now one of the most important tools in a band's arsenal", states Killian, "we are providing more than web sites, we are providing 'Band Management Systems' via the web." Bandweb sites include all the tools that bands need to be successful in the independent marketplace, including full-service eCommerce solutions.
"Bandweb has become a vital partner in my success," states artist Mary Lydia Ryan, "their service has allowed me to expand my reach to thousands of fans around the world. I don't think there is a better web service targeted to musicians."
For a limited time, the complete Bandweb service will cost $19 a month, including domain hosting, 'Quick-Build' templates, and full-service eCommerce. This pricing applies to the first 100 bands that register, after which the price will increase to $24 per month. "For the price of basic web hosting on most systems, we'll provide a complete resource," states Killian. "I believe it is the best solution for bands and musicians looking to take their careers to the next level."
